Doors Open / Table Setup / Registration at 10 AM.    

Pairings:  10:15

Game 1: 10:30 – 1 PM

Lunch:  1:00 – 1:30 PM (Lunch is included with your entry fee)

Game 2: 1:30 – 4:00

Game 3: 4:30 – 7:00

Prizes:  7:15 – 7:45

Round Time:   150 minutes (2.5 hours).   At 135 minutes, the TO will declare 15 minutes left.  DO NOT start an additional turn after 15 minuets is called.   Just finish the current turn and score the game.   At time, players will be given 10 additional minutes to complete the turn they are on.   If the game is not complete after that, a hard dice down will be called.  The round will be scored based on the table state at the time of hard dice down.

3. Tournament Structure

This will be a casual competitive event.   Beginners and new players are welcome and encouraged!    The first round will be random pairings, with swiss pairings after.   However, during round 1, any players traveling to the event in the same vehicle, or part of the same “gaming group” will NOT play each other.  Any new player may request to be paired with an experienced player in round one to help with game mechanics and rules.

Everyone will play the same mission each round.   Each round, the mission will be randomly selected from a list of possible missions, below.  Each of the possible missions will be placed in a dice bag, and one mission will be drawn each round.
