August Warhammer the Old World Tournament (8/9)

This will be a 2000 point tournament at Gigabites cafe. There will be comp based upon the Throne of Skulls Comp being used by Games Workshop:

You may not spend more than 25% of your army’s total value on a single character.

Your army may include any number of level 1 and 2 wizards (within the above

restrictions)

But may only include:

0-1 Level 3 Wizard per 1000 points

0-1 Level 4 Wizard per 2000 points

There will be a mission pack that will be published shortly.

There will be prizes for Painting and the top player. Depending on attendance there may be additional prizes.

Here is our mission pack for the event:

Round 1:

This mission is based upon the Lonely Tower on pg 298 of the Rule book. This will be a building capable of holding a total of unit strength 20 Of Infantry or Monsterous infantry.

Scoring: Score victory points as described on page 286. In addition this mission has additional victory points available. At the end of each player turn if the active player is holding the tower they will score an additional 50 victory points.

Round 2:

Before deployment but after rolling to determine sides place 3 objectives along the center line of the table (24” from the long table edge) These should be 18” from the short table edge and 18” from each other.

Scoring: Score victory points as described on page 286. In addition the active player can score an objective token if at the end of their turn if a unit fully overlaps the token. For a skirmish unit at least two models must be overlapping the token and not locked in combat. Control of an objective marker is worth 25 victory points
