The Doom of Oryyx II: A Horus Heresy Narrative Event (Part 3) (April 24th)

The war for Orryx-II has fractured into open chaos.
The Loyalist advance has collapsed after a sudden and brutal counterattack by Traitor forces, with the Emperor’s Children and the Death Guard striking hard enough to break the siege lines.

What had been a defined front has now dissolved into scattered firefights and shifting kill‑zones, turning the manufactoria districts into a maze of violence.

Across the world, Space Marines, Solar Auxilia, and Mechanicum cohorts now fight on against this sudden surge of violence, each force struggling to regain momentum amid the confusion. Traitor forces surge from hidden redoubts to reclaim ground, while Loyalist commanders attempt to rally their warriors and restore order. Neither side holds a clear advantage, and the conflict has become a grinding struggle of attrition and will.

Through it all, from his throne atop the Central Forge, Archmagos Vaardus Augustian continues his inscrutable work as strange archaeotech structures across the planet begin to awaken, their activation sending ripples of unease through every faction. Orryx-II stands on the brink, and the next movements in this conflict will shape the fate of the entire planet.

The Doom of Orryx-II is a Narrative Campaign to be played with Warhammer: The Horus Hersy 3rd Edition.
Loyalist and Traitor players will face off, and shape the narrative of the beleaguered Forge World Orryx-II over the course of several battles fought with unique missions!

Come out and help determine the fate of this world set in the Age of Darkness!

Any faction is welcome for this campaign, and whether you will be attending just one session or all of them, anyone who wants to play Horus Heresy is welcome!

Army Lists should be limited to 2,500 points, and contain no Named Characters. You are allowed one Imperial Knight Lord of War that does not exceed 700 points, however no other Lords of War are eligible.
We are aiming for a more casual, narrative flavor for this event, so bring all your cool, thematic, fluffy army lists so we can craft a compelling story!

The Event will be held on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, starting at 10 AM and running until 4 PM.
There will be an Entry Fee of $10 to enter the event, which will go to both the store and towards Prize Support for 'Best Painted War Machine' (Tanks, Dreadnoughts, Walkers, etc), 'Most Successful Loyalist Commander', and ‘Most Successful Traitor Commander’.
