The Forge World of Orryx II has erupted into full civil war. Archmagos Vaardus Augustian’s sudden uprising shattered the planet’s leadership, drawing both Loyalist and Traitor forces into a struggle for control of its vital manufactoria.
Loyalist Astartes Legions, along with Solar Auxilia cohorts and Mechanicum detachments, have touched down and secured the early victories, establishing firm landing zones and capturing significant stores of war materiel. Their foothold is strong, but the fighting has been brutal. Now the Traitor forces find themselves besieged, and having taken refuge within Augustian’s fortified Central Forge. They have carved out fortified positions across the complex, their resistance remains fierce, driven by desperation and ambition.
Amid the chaos, the Central Forge remains untouched, its master studying the conflict with mechanical precision and unknowable intent. Orryx II stands as one of the final forges before Segmentum Solar, and whatever happens here will echo far beyond its burning skies.

The Doom of Orryx-II is a Narrative Campaign to be played with Warhammer: The Horus Hersy 3rd Edition.

Loyalist and Traitor players will face off, and shape the narrative of the beleaguered Forge World Orryx-II over the course of several battles fought with unique missions!

Come out and help determine the fate of this world set in the Age of Darkness!

Any faction is welcome for this campaign, and whether you will be attending just one session or all of them, anyone who wants to play Horus Heresy is welcome!

Army Lists should be limited to 2,000 points, contain no Named Characters, and no Lords of War. Additionally, an Army List may only contain a maximum of 1 (one) Vehicle that has an Armour Value of 14 on multiple facings (Ex: Land Raiders, Spartans, Kratos, etc). We are aiming for a more casual, narrative flavor for this event, so bring all your cool, thematic, fluffy army lists so we can craft a compelling story!

The Event will be held on February 22nd, 2026, starting at 10 AM and running until 4 PM.

There will be an Entry Fee of $10 to enter the event, which will go to both the store and towards Prize Support for 'Best Painted Squad', 'Most Successful Loyalist Commander', and ‘Most Successful Traitor Commander’.
